Melissa Teeter

No matter the area of law into which your need for an attorney falls, the most important thing is our relationship. I recognize that my clients are real people with real needs. I know that you want your problem solved so that you can get on with your life. I want to help you do that as quickly and effectively as possible. You and I are different people. Our tolerances and perspectives vary. As your attorney, I am here to help you find the most effective path available that you are comfortable with. First, I believe in a high level of integrity and ethics. This belief is the foundation on which my life, both professionally and personally, is based. Second, I recognize that the law can be a complex, scary, and daunting thing. I strive to help my clients clearly understand all aspects of the law applicable to their issues so that they can make the best choices for their unique situation. Third, I know that not all news is good news. However, being in the dark on your own legal situation is worse. I make every effort to be available when you need me, to answer any questions you may have and to provide an update as to what is going on with your situation.

I am a fifth generation Texan, born and raised in Montgomery County. I received my undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and my Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. I am blessed to have a husband, two wonderful boys, and two loving dogs at home. I am active in my church and my sons' Boy Scout Troop.

Having worked for many years in the "real world," I offer a unique perspective of our legal system. I have been both an employee and a manager so I understand both sides of workplace disputes.
